Larry was born June 12, 1949 in Houston, Texas, to Joe Barney Callaway and Betty Jean Ellington Callaway.  His sister, Connie Callaway (1950-1923), was also a Spring Woods 1968 graduate.  
Larry passed away August 20, 2013 in Krkland, Washington.  He was 64 years old.

Lawrence Douglas Callaway, indeed a fisher of men – and women, children, people of all ages – was happiest preaching the Word of God and spending time with his beloved family. He was also an accomplished fisherman, outdoorsman and great friend and mentor to many.

Born on June 12, 1949 in Houston, Texas, Lawrence, also known as Brandy, left his earth suit behind to be with the Lord on August 20, 2013 at Evergreen Hospice Center in Kirkland, Washington.

For 30 years he was a devoted evangelist and a pastor 20 of those years. Also an entrepreneur, for the past 10 years he owned Amazing Kettle Corn.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Marie D. Callaway; sisters Barbara Adams, Patricia Bermingham and Constance Callaway; son Justin Brandon Callaway; daughters JoDee Michelle Taylor and Daria Douglas Brown; and 11 grandchildren with another on the way.

A celebration of life service will be at 4:00PM September 6th at Eastridge Church, Issaquah, WA.
