COURTNEY WILLIAM L. HALL, 49, of Houston, died Friday, October 23, 1998 after a long 20-year battle with Huntington Disease.

He was born on August 7, 1949 in Columbus, Georgia and was raised in Houston. Upon graduating from Spring Woods High School in 1968, Courtney joined the U. S. Navy Seabees and served two tours in Vietnam.

Preceded in death by his parents, William L. Hall (1921-1975) and Mary DeElda Adam Hall (1926-1973); grandparents: Albert Adam (1894-1948) and Teresa Kramer Adam (1895-1980); Ernest Hall (1893-1961) and Elsie Hinds Hall Dempsey (1895-1985).

He is survived by his sister, Dianne Hall Wilson, her husband, Bob, of Sugar Land and their son, Chris Wilson and his wife, Amy Otto Wilson of Huntington Beach, California; brothers: Randy L. Hall, his wife, Denise Shields Hall of Conroe and their son, Jes Hall, of Conroe; William “Buddy” Hall of Houston and his daughters, Pvt. Tara Hall of Fort Carson, Colorado and Lana Hall of Houston; and Mickey T. Hall (USN) stationed in Jacksonville, Florida, and his daughter, Heather Hall and son, Jason Hall; and numerous other relatives in Texas and Iowa.

No funeral services held. Interment at Houston National Cemetery, Houston.
