Mike Dorhauer
1950-2002


John Michael "Mike" Dorhauer was born May 23, 1950 in Harris County, Texas.  He passed away on October 30, 2002.  He was 52 years old.
 

Houston Chronicle, Nov. 1 to 3, 2002:

      JOHN MICHAEL DORHAUER, 52, died on October 30, 2002.
      Upon his retirement from the U.S. Postal Service he was proud to be among a small group of investors in "Book Browser, Inc."
      His parents Elizabeth and Gene Dorhauer and brother Gene Mitchell Dorhauer preceded him in death.
      He is survived by his grandmother Flora Dorhauer, aunt Virginia Bedford, dear friend Bessie Dorhauer, two beloved companions Lady and Missy, and an extended family of wonderful and caring neighbors and friends.
      Our lives are richer for his courage, fortitude and insistence on living life to the fullest in spite of the challenges that faced him daily throughout his long illness.
